ACOAM is excited to announce new scholarship opportunities for our members, designed to provide financial support for those wishing to attend conferences. We’re committed to helping you further your professional growth!

New for 2025:
We are thrilled to offer three scholarships of up to $400 each to current ACOAM members, designed to help cover costs for conferences, training sessions, and other educational opportunities. We understand that the financial burden of attending these events can be challenging for both individuals and departments. At ACOAM, we're committed to supporting our members in their pursuit of professional development and expanding their knowledge and skills in the vital field of animal care and control.

By completing the form below, your application will be reviewed for applicability by our Scholarship & Awards Committee.

Qualifications:

1. Applicants must write a brief essay (1,000 words or less) explaining what conference and/or training event they are looking to attend (including date and location of the event) and why.
2. The conference and/or training event must be directly related to the field of animal care & control.
3. Applicants for these scholarships must be currently employed by a municipality as an ACO.
4. Applicants must be current ACOAM members.
5. The scholarships will be awarded in an amount up to $400.00 and must be applied to the costs related to a conference and/or training event.
