2025 ACOAM Academy Scholarship Application – Animal Control Officers Association of Massachusetts

Academy Scholarships

There are currently two scholarships available for attendees of the ACOAM Animal Control Officer Certification Academy: the Captain Thomas White Scholarship and the Dick Stein Scholarship. By completing the form below, your application will be reviewed for applicability to either of the available scholarships.

1. Applicants for a scholarship must write a brief essay (1,000 words or less) explaining their reasons for requesting a scholarship and reasons for attending the Academy.
2. Applications for these scholarships must be employed by a municipality.
3. The scholarships will be awarded in an amount up to $600.00 and will applied to the cost of the ACOAM Academy. All other costs related to the course, such as but not limited to travel expenses and wages, will be the responsibility of the student.

* In order to have your application reviewed, applicants must have already submitted an application for the 2024 ACOAM Academy. *
